The Columbus East Olympian Men's Tennis team encountered double the heat on Wednesday evening in Greensburg, battling scorching late-summer temperatures and a blazing Pirates squad in a 5-0 varsity road loss. Despite the sweep on the varsity ledger, #1 doubles tandem Trevor Ernst and Micah Wettschurack provided a thriller, bouncing back from an opening-set loss to force a third-set tiebreaker before falling just short. The Olympians also found bright spots in Junior Varsity play, picking up dominant wins in both singles and doubles action.
