The fall sports season is slowly coming to end, with the Olympian football team being the last fall sports team still playing. The Columbus East Olympian football team will host the Seymour Owls this Friday, October 27th starting at 7 p.m. in the semi-final round of the 2023 IHSAA Sectional. CEHS Girl's basketball starts the winter sports season for the Olympians by hosting a scrimmage vs. Jennings County on Wednesday, October 25th starting at 6 p.m. in The Orange Pit. Their first regular season game is October 31st against Purdue Polytech starting at 7:30 p.m. in The Orange Pit. CEHS Men's basketball hosts Roncalli for a scrimmage on Saturday, November 18th starting at noon in The Orange Pit. Their first regular season game is Tuesday, November 28th vs. Whiteland starting at 7:30 p.m. in The Orange Pit. The Columbus East wrestling season opens Saturday, December 2nd as the head to Jeffersonville H.S. to compete in the Jeff Duals. The Lady O's gymnastics team opens their season by hosting Westfield H.S. on Saturday, January 6th in The Orange Pit. The Lady O's swim and dive team opens their season against Bloomington North High School on November 11th starting at 10 a.m. at the Olympians H2O's swimming complex. And finally, the CEHS boys swim and diving team will travel to Shelbyville H.S. on Thursday, November 30th starting at 6 p.m. to take on the Golden Bears.
