SEYMOUR — Junior Abby King turned in a career-best performance to lead Columbus East, but the Olympians dropped a 169–208 Hoosier Hills Conference dual match to host Seymour on Tuesday night at Shadowood Golf Course. King paced East with a team-low round of 40 on 9 holes. Though initially marked as a 41 on the official match scoresheet, head coach LaDonna VanDeventer confirmed following the round that King was actually one stroke better, establishing her new personal record and shaving a point off the Olympians' final team score. Senior Calleigh Gill posted the second-best tally for East with a 49, while sophomore Emmy Gill added a 56. Sophia Perez and Brynn Wendell completed the scoring rotation for the Olympians, both carding rounds of 63. Match Summary Team Scores: Seymour: 169 Columbus East: 208 Individual Results: Columbus East (208) Abby King: 40 (Personal Best) Calleigh Gill: 49 Emmy Gill: 56 Sophia Perez: 63 Bren Wendell: 63
