The Olympians faced the 4A No. 6 ranked Roncalli Rebels last night in The Orange Pit and ran into a brick wall, losing in three sets: 25-7, 25-13, 25-15. After riding a season high three game winning streak, the Olympians were just simply over-powered by the Royals. Jenna Guse had 5 kills, 4 digs, & two block assists, Chloe Gilley had 9 digs, Kimberly Carothers had two block assists, Addison Emery had 4 digs, Krea Martin had 13 assists & 2 aces, and Caroline Frost had 6 kills with 2 block assists. The Olympians finish the regular season this Saturday(10/7) with their own CEHS Invitational and then have a solid week off to start preparing for the 2023 IHSAA Sectional. The Olympians play the winner of the East Central vs. Franklin Community on October 14th in the semi-final round of the IHSAA Sectional. The match will be played at Franklin Community H.S. starting at 6 p.m. Good luck Olympians!
