Columbus East High School

The Columbus East girls golf team delivered a solid team performance on the course, carding a 202 to earn a second-place finish in a competitive four-way match against Madison, Hauser, and Trinity Lutheran. Madison captured the team victory with an impressive round of 194. Columbus East took second place, while Hauser finished third with a score of 241 and Trinity Lutheran rounded out the field at 245. Sofia Perez paced the Olympians on the day, leading the lineup with a team-best score of 47. Abby King followed closely behind, carding a strong 49 to keep the O’s in contention near the top of the leaderboard. Calleigh Gill and Emma Gill added steady production to the middle of the card, turning in rounds of 52 and 54, respectively. Brynn Wendel rounded out the effort for Columbus East, completing her day with a 59.
