COLUMBUS, IN - The Columbus East boys cross-country squad made some headway at Cera Sports Park during their dual meet against crosstown opponent Columbus North, highlighted by a milestone performance at the front of the pack. Norman Dickson set the tone for the Olympians, grabbing third place overall with a time of 16:02. By claiming a top-three spot, Dickson broke up nearly a decade of perfect-score sweeps in this head-to-head matchup, securing a major individual breakthrough for the East program. Behind Dickson, the Olympian varsity lineup delivered a steady group effort across the line. Daxton Wolf ran a strong 18:17 to take the second spot for East, followed by Henry Meredith at 18:53. Cullen Fullerton stopped the clock in 19:24, and Liam Wiltsey closed out the team's top five with a time of 19:44. While the final team tally ended 18–45, the performance reflected real progression for Columbus East. Spoiling a long-standing shutout and performing well on a familiar course gives the squad clear momentum to build on as the season continues.
