COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Columbus East Olympian girls golf team hosted Hoosier Hills Conference rival Seymour on Thursday evening at Greenbelt Golf Course. Playing in sunny, 82-degree conditions, the Olympians put up a strong local effort but fell to the visiting Owls by a final score of 177–194. Abby King led the way for Columbus East, turning in a team-best 9-hole card of 45. Emma Gill delivered a steady performance to post East's second-lowest total with a 47, while Calleigh Gill shot a 49 to round out the team's sub-50 rounds. Brynn Wendel completed the team's top four scoring total with a 53. Sofia Perez (57) and Caroline Grider (65) also competed for the host Olympians.
