The Columbus East girls volleyball team used their momentum from Tuesday nights thrilling 5 set victory, defeating the Columbus North Bulldogs (3-1) 25-19, 22-25, 25-23, and 25-21 in last nights cross-town showdown in The Orange Pit. Seniors Caroline Frost, Chloe Gilley, and Jenna Guse led the way with their great leadership and solid play! It was the Olympians 18 straight regular season victory over the Bulldogs dating back to 2005. The Orange Pit was rocking, with a large attendance for the evening, including a loud and proud, large CEHS student section. Olympians stats for the evening: Caroline Frost - 12 kills, 2 aces, 1 block, and 3 block assists Addison Emery - 11 digs, 2 aces Lilah Klei - 13 kills , 1 block assist Lauren Smith - seven digs Anika Jenkins - 2 block assists Kimberly Carothers - 1 block assist Krea Martin - 35 assists Jenna Guse - 14 kills, 6 digs Chloe Gilley - 25 digs, 3 aces The Lady O's are back in action Tuesday, October 3rd, as they host the Madison Cubs, starting at 7:30 p.m. Good luck Olympians!
