Columbus East Athletics is inviting Olympian fans, families, students, and the community to kick off the 2026 fall sports season at the Opening Ceremonies Tailgate Party on Thursday, August 7, at Stafford Field at Bob Gaddis Stadium. The event will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m., with team introductions beginning at 7:00 p.m. The evening will give fans their first opportunity to meet Columbus East's fall student-athletes and coaches as they prepare for the upcoming season. Coaches and student-athletes from each fall sport will be introduced during the Opening Ceremonies, helping officially launch the 2026 athletic year. In addition to the team introductions, the Tailgate Party will feature plenty of family-friendly activities, including tailgate games, music, a dunk tank, food, raffles, and more. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase 2026-27 athletic passes and Columbus East merchandise before the start of the fall season. Whether you're a longtime Olympian supporter or new to the East community, the Opening Ceremonies Tailgate Party is a great way to celebrate the start of another exciting year of Columbus East Athletics.
