Columbus East High School

The Columbus East Olympian boys golf team took to the course on Friday, June 5, 2026, to compete in the IHSAA Sectional tournament. Hosted by Greensburg High School, the competitive field faced off at the Greensburg Country Club. Despite a highly competitive effort across the par-70 course, the Olympians finished sixth overall with a team score of 349. Because only the top three teams advance, Columbus East's team postseason run comes to an end, and they will unfortunately not advance to the Regional round. Columbus East Player Scorecard Columbus East showed consistency up and down their lineup. The team was spearheaded by co-leaders Braxton Burton and Frank Phillips, who both carded an 86. Cross-town rival Columbus North secured the runner-up spot with a 316, and Shelbyville claimed the third and final Regional-qualifying position with a 334.
