Welcome CEHS softball parents and fans to the 2026 IHSAA Class 4A Softball Sectional 14 tournament! Whiteland Community High School will host this year's tournament on our natural surface playing field. Below you will find all the essential information regarding game schedules, ticketing, facility policies, and parking to make your tournament experience seamless. Tournament Schedule & Matchups The tournament runs from Tuesday, May 26th through Thursday, May 28th. Tuesday, May 26th Game 1 (6:00 PM): Columbus East (Visitor) vs. East Central (Home). Note: East Central will occupy the 3rd base dugout and be designated as the home team on the scoreboard. Game 1 Timeline: 4:15 PM: Field opens. 5:00 PM: Gates open to spectators. 5:30 PM – 5:40 PM: East Central takes infield practice. 5:40 PM – 5:50 PM: Columbus East takes infield practice. 5:50 PM – 5:55 PM: Coaches and umpires meeting. 5:55 PM: Roster introductions and the National Anthem. Wednesday, May 27th Game 2 (6:00 PM): Whiteland (Visitor) vs. Columbus North (Home). Note: Whiteland will occupy the 3rd base dugout but will be designated as the visitor on the scoreboard. Game 3 (8:00 PM): Franklin Community vs. Winner of Game 1. Note: The winner of Game 1 will occupy the 3rd base dugout and be the home team on the scoreboard. Wednesday Timeline: 4:15 PM: Field opens. 5:00 PM: Gates open to spectators. 5:30 PM – 5:40 PM: Columbus North takes infield practice. 5:40 PM – 5:50 PM: Whiteland takes infield practice. 5:50 PM – 5:55 PM: Coaches and umpires meeting (Game 2). 5:55 PM: Roster introductions and the National Anthem. 7:30 PM – 7:40 PM: Game 1 winner takes infield practice for Game 3. 7:40 PM – 7:50 PM: Franklin Community takes infield practice. 7:50 PM – 7:55 PM: Coaches and umpires meeting (Game 3). 7:55 PM: Roster introductions for Game 3 (Note: No National Anthem will be played before Game 3, as it will be played earlier in the evening before Game 1). Thursday, May 28th (Championship Game) Game 4 (6:00 PM): Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 2. Note: The Game 3 winner will be in the home dugout and home on the scoreboard, unless Whiteland is the opponent (in which case dugout assignments adjust but the Game 3 winner remains home on the scoreboard). Championship Timeline: 4:15 PM: Field opens. 5:00 PM: Gates open to spectators. 5:30 PM – 5:40 PM: Game 3 winner takes infield practice. 5:40 PM – 5:50 PM: Game 2 winner takes infield practice. 5:50 PM – 5:55 PM: Coaches and umpires meeting. 5:55 PM: Roster introductions and the National Anthem. Ticket & Admission Information Tickets can be purchased at the gates with cash or a card, or securely online ahead of time. A sign-in sheet will be available at the gate for school administrators, official team scorekeepers, and coaches' immediate families. Everyone else must purchase a ticket. Fan Guidelines & Facility Policies To ensure a safe, positive, and compliant environment for our athletes and spectators, please take note of the following rules: Concessions: Food, drinks, and refreshments will be available for purchase at the stadium concession stands throughout the tournament. Prohibited Fan Items: Per IHSAA tournament restrictions, fans are not permitted to bring banners, posters, sirens, whistles, or any electronic/battery-powered noisemakers into the facility. Pet Policy: No pets or live animal mascots are permitted anywhere on school property or campus grounds. Tobacco Policy: Whiteland Community High School is a strictly tobacco-free campus. Dugout Locations: In general, the team designated as HOME will use the 3rd base dugout, and the VISITOR team will use the 1st base dugout. Directions & Parking Arriving at Campus: It is highly recommended that all spectators enter the Whiteland Community High School campus from US-31. Fan Parking: Public parking is located directly south of the Softball complex and the adjacent tennis courts. Good luck Olympians!
