The win was sealed in the final frame, as the Olympians showcased their resilience to move past their conference rivals. Early Deficit and Third-Inning Surge The Olympians found themselves trailing early after the Owls jumped out to a 3-0 lead by the top of the third inning. However, the Columbus East offense ignited in the bottom half of that same inning to take the lead. > Mackenzie Hampton kickstarted the momentum with a leadoff single. > Lola Watkins drove a double into left field to bring home a run. > Following a fielder's choice by Thaise Jessup that plated another score, Baleigh Fish delivered an RBI single to put the Olympians ahead 4-3.
