The Columbus East girls tennis team secured its second victory in two nights with a 3-2 win over the Madison Cubs on Thursday evening in Madison. The Olympians earned their three points through a sweep of the singles matches: Singles Results No. 1 Singles: Lauren Degner (CE) def. Heilani Youngblood 6-2, 6-1. No. 2 Singles: Olivia De Barro (CE) def. Kamea Phelps 6-0, 6-0. No. 3 Singles: Bruna Carriera (CE) def. Lauren Boles 6-3, 7-5. Doubles Results No. 1 Doubles: Bridget Boles and Marley Stivers (M) def. Ava Tartt and Audrey Bush 2-6, 6-4, 6-4. No. 2 Doubles: Natty Montgomery and Olivia Scruggins (M) def. Zoe White and Tori Siegers 6-0, 6-3. The Olympians are on the road again, this time they travel to Jennings County HS to face the Panthers on Monday, April 27th. This Hoosier Hills Conference match begins at 5 p.m.
