The Columbus East boys volleyball team hosted Whiteland for a non-conference clash on Monday evening. Despite a spirited performance in the second set, the Olympians ultimately fell to the Warriors in a 3-0 sweep (25-13, 27-25, 25-17). The loss moves the Olympians to a 1-7 record on the season. Match Highlights Whiteland took control early with a dominant first set, but East found their rhythm in the second. The Olympians pushed the Warriors to the brink, forcing an extra-points battle before Whiteland narrowly escaped with a 27-25 win to take a 2-0 lead. The Warriors then closed out the match in the third frame.
