North Vernon, IN — The Columbus East boys golf team traveled to St. Anne’s Golf Course on Monday evening for a conference showdown against Hoosier Hills Conference (HHC) rival Jennings County. Despite some solid individual performances, the Olympians fell to the Panthers in a competitive match, 175-186.Match Highlights: Jennings County utilized their home-course advantage to secure the 11-stroke victory. Leading the way for Columbus East was Braxton Burton, who earned medalist honors for the Olympians by carding a 42. The Olympians showed consistency through the middle of their lineup, but it wasn't quite enough to overcome the Panthers' collective scoring.
