Olympians Compete at Center Grove Trojan Classic Golf Invitational

The Columbus East boys golf team competed in Saturday’s Trojan Classic Invitational, hosted by Center Grove High School, finishing 17th with a team score of 381. Franklin claimed the team title with a 294, followed by Plainfield at 296. Guerin Catholic edged Center Grove Red 298-299 for third place at Hickory Stick. Braxton Burton led the Olympians with an 81. Luke Rice followed with a 97, while Koldyn Cain and Frank Phillips each shot 101. Eddie Seaborne rounded out the scoring with a 114. Columbus East returns to action on Monday, April 20, traveling to North Vernon to face Hoosier Hills Conference opponent Jennings County at St. Anne’s Golf Course.
