Date: Saturday, May 9, 2026 Location: Cascades Golf Course (Quarry & Pine) – Bloomington, IN Start Time: 8:30 AM (Shotgun Start) Event Overview The 36th Annual Bloomington North Invitational features a strong field of teams from across the state, including Columbus East, Columbus North, Carmel, Center Grove, Seymour, and more. This is a full-field, shotgun-start event, meaning all groups begin play at the same time from different holes. Key Times 7:00 AM – Practice facilities open (driving range & putting greens) 8:00 AM – Coaches meeting (under covered area at packet pick-up) 8:30 AM – Shotgun start Arrival & Spectator Tips Plan to arrive early if you want to see warmups or secure a spectator cart. Spectators may help players locate golf balls—this helps speed up pace of play. Walking ahead of players (when safe) is encouraged. Spectator Carts Available for $32 First-come, first-served (no reservations) Limited supply—arrive early if you’ll need one Food & Drinks Coffee trucks and local food trucks will be on-site throughout the event No need to leave the course for meals—great option for families staying all day Course & Practice Info Practice range opens at 7:00 AM Teams are assigned specific hitting mats (organized setup—expect structure early) Course setup: Gold Cougar Tees (~6,110 yards) Following the Action Because it’s a shotgun start, groups will be spread across the course If you're following a specific player: Ask them or a coach for their starting hole From there, follow their group hole-by-hole Rules to Be Aware Of Players may use distance-measuring devices (distance only) Cell phones are restricted to scoring, emergencies, weather, or rules communication Misuse can result in penalties or disqualification Playoff Format (If Needed) Individual Champion: Sudden death playoff Hole rotation: #1Q → #8Q → #9Q (repeat as needed) Team Champion: Determined by IHSAA tiebreaker procedures Awards Team Champion Trophy (1st place team) Individual Medals: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Results will be shared with coaches within 24 hours Teams Competing A competitive field including: Bloomington North, Bloomington South (BNL), Brownstown Central, Carmel, Center Grove, Columbus East, Columbus North, Edgewood, Martinsville, New Albany, Perry Meridian, Seymour, Terre Haute North, Washington, & Westfield.
