Event: Indiana Frosh/Soph State Qualifier – South Date: Saturday, Feb 14 (Travel) – Sunday, Feb 15 (Competition) Time Zone Alert: Evansville is on Central Time (CST). Columbus is on Eastern Time (EST). Please plan accordingly. 📅 Saturday, February 14: Travel & Semi-State 6:30 AM (EST): Bus departs Columbus East. Wrestlers must be packed and ready. Morning: The team will travel to the Ford Center in Evansville to watch the IHSAA Semi-State tournament. Parents/Non-Bus Riders: If you are meeting the team at the Ford Center, please arrive before 9:00 AM (CST) as lines will be long. Lunch/Snacks: All wrestlers should bring extra cash for food and drinks at the Ford Center. Evening: After Semi-State concludes, the bus will take the team to the hotel. All wrestlers competing Sunday must meet back at the hotel. 🏨 Hotel Information Drury Inn & Suites (off the Lloyd Expressway) 100 Cross Pointe Blvd, Evansville, IN 47715 🤼 Sunday, February 15: Competition Day Important: There are two different venues depending on if you are watching Boys or Girls wrestling. 📍 BOYS VENUE: Mater Dei High School Address: 1300 Harmony Way, Evansville, IN Admission: $10 Cash Only (applies to spectators and coaches) Parking: Spectators should use the main entrance lot (Doors #4 & #5). Buses park in the back lot (Door #10). Food/Coolers: Concessions are available. Coolers are allowed but must be kept in the main hallway (not in the gym/bleachers). 📍 GIRLS VENUE: Mt. Vernon High School (Posey) Location Note: The girls' division is held separately at Mt. Vernon.
