Columbus East High School

The Columbus East boys basketball team will be back on the road Friday evening as the Olympians travel south to take on Scottsburg in a JV-varsity matchup. The games will be played at Charles E. Meyer Gymnasium in Scottsburg, an important note for fans making the trip, as the gym is not located on the Scottsburg High School campus. Tip-off for the JV game is set for 6:00 p.m., with varsity action to follow at approximately 7:30 p.m. What Fans Need to Know Admission is $6, with tickets available by cash at the door or online in advance. Fan entrances will be open at Doors 12 and 19, with parking available around the gymnasium. There are no pass-outs once inside. For those unable to attend in person, both the JV and varsity games will be live streamed on the NFHS Network, with coverage also available through IHSAAtv.org. Both pay sites, btw. A certified athletic trainer will be on site for the contest, and all standard game-day operations will be in place. Friday night sets up as another good road test for the Olympians as they continue to compete, grow, and prepare for the heart of the season.
