Hoosier Hills Conference Girls Swimming & Diving Championship Hosted by Columbus East High School Columbus East High School will host the Hoosier Hills Conference Girls Swimming & Diving Championship on Thursday, January 15 (Diving) and Saturday, January 17 (Swimming Finals). Fans, parents, and supporters are encouraged to attend and cheer on their athletes during this championship event. 📍 Event Location Columbus East High School 230 S. Marr Road, Columbus, IN 47201 Pool entrance is located on the west side of the building. 🗓 Event Schedule Thursday, January 15 – Diving Pool opens: 3:30 PM Diving warm-ups: 4:00–5:45 PM Scratch meeting: 5:00 PM Diving begins: 6:00 PM Saturday, January 17 – Swimming Finals Doors open: 11:00 AM Warm-ups: 11:30 AM–12:50 PM Scratch meeting & meet committee election: 12:15 PM Pool cleared: 12:50 PM Swim finals begin: 1:00 PM 🎟 Admission & Parking Admission: $7.00 per spectator Thursday Diving Ticket Link: https://public.eventlink.com/tickets?t=165258 Saturday Ticket Link: https://public.eventlink.com/tickets?t=165482 Concessions: Available on site Parking: Spectator parking is available in the student/athletic lot on the south side of the building and in the east bus lot. Event signage will direct fans to the pool entrance. 🪑 Seating & Deck Access Seating is available in designated spectator areas. Only swimmers, divers, coaches, and team managers are permitted on the pool deck. Locker room and team seating assignments will be provided to coaches upon arrival. Columbus East High School is not responsible for lost or stolen items. 🏊 Meet Format & Awards The championship is conducted as a timed finals meet. The top eight swimmers compete in the final heat of each event. All relay teams compete in a single heat. Awards Individual event champions and all members of championship relay teams earn All-Conference honors and receive plaques. Ribbons are awarded to swimmers placing 2nd through 8th. Awards are presented between events throughout the meet. ℹ️ Fan & Parent Reminders Arrive early, especially on Saturday, to allow time for parking and entry. Bring layers — pool environments can be cool. Please respect deck access restrictions to help keep the meet running on schedule.
