The Columbus East girls wrestling team delivered another authoritative performance Wednesday night, earning a 60–6 win over cross-town rival Columbus North in a dual that reflected the Olympians’ depth and championship pedigree. Several weight classes were decided by forfeit, putting East in control early, but the Olympians made their presence felt in the matches that were contested. East claimed four victories on the mat, each ending by pin, and consistently dictated the pace of the evening. Third-ranked Annie Redman opened the night with a pin at 170 pounds, immediately setting the tone. Pins followed from Tienica Dits at 105, Luci Morales at 130, and Izzy Wakefield at 155 as East continued to separate itself throughout the dual. Morales’ victory marked her first contested match of the season, adding an encouraging sign for an Olympian lineup that continues to take shape as the schedule moves forward. East also collected forfeit wins from Ashlee Manis (190), Kaydence Spradlin (235), Lia Tomlinson (110), Breylin Rodriguez (115), Dulce Santiago (120), and ninth-ranked Gloria Cloud (125), underscoring the roster’s balance across the weights. The result reinforced what has become a familiar theme for the Olympians this season: consistent execution and the ability to take care of business in high-attention settings as the calendar turns toward the heart of the winter schedule. East heads to Jeffersonville High School to compete in the Jeff Classic Invitational this Saturday, December 20th. Early rise- 8:30 a.m. start time!
